Usage
GetReal Trust Advisor Authentication runs silently in the background after the initial authorization. No further interaction is required from you.
What This App Accesses
During authorization, you grant GetReal read access to your basic Zoom user profile information:
Data |
How it is used |
|---|---|
Name |
Identifying you within the GetReal Trust Advisor suite |
Email address |
Associating your account and delivering any notifications |
Zoom user ID |
Linking detection results to your Zoom identity |
No meeting content, audio, video, or recording data is accessed by this app. That access is managed separately by the GetReal Trust Advisor panel app and GetReal Trust Advisor Bot.
If this authentication app is removed, all other GetReal Trust Advisor apps will immediately lose access to your Zoom account and stop functioning.
Removing the App
Steps to Remove
Go to the Zoom App Marketplace .
Navigate to Manage > Added Apps.
Find GetReal Trust Advisor Authentication and click Remove.
Confirm removal when prompted.
When you click Remove, GetReal's system automatically revokes the OAuth access token and processes the deauthorization event in accordance with Zoom's data compliance requirements. This ensures GetReal's access to your Zoom account is fully terminated on both sides.
We also recommend removing the GetReal Trust Advisor panel app and GetReal Trust Advisor Bot from your Marketplace if you no longer wish to use the suite.
Implications of De-Authorization
Removing this app will:
Immediately revoke GetReal's OAuth access to your Zoom account
Stop all other GetReal Trust Advisor apps from functioning, as they depend on this authorization
Prevent any new data from being collected from your Zoom account
Your data: After de-authorization, GetReal will handle previously collected data (your name, email address, and Zoom user ID) in accordance with our data retention policy.
To request immediate deletion of your data, contact privacy@getreallabs.com.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to re-authorize if my Zoom password changes? No. The OAuth token is independent of your Zoom password. You would only need to re-authorize if you manually removed the app or if the token expires due to inactivity.
Will other meeting participants know this app is installed? No. The authentication app is invisible to other meeting participants. It only grants GetReal access to your user profile data in the background.
